Busy weekend....

Friday night Henley had a birthday party to attend at the Splash pad in Gardendale. She had so much fun but not until the party was over. She wouldn't go near the water during the entire party for some reason. After everyone left, she decided she was going to go play. Needless to say, we had to stay a while longer to let her play. Saturday, we went to see Grandmother and baby Reagan that was visiting. Also, Saturday MaMaw took Henley to walmart to buy her a fish bowl and two fish. She named one of them or both of them....Harper-Sams.....we are a little confused but whatever. They are currently on her night stand by her bed thanks to her cool daddy. I think he is CRAZY! I promise i will not be the one cleaning up the mess! haha! Sunday we went to church and then to eat at Granny and Grandaddy' s house for decoration. Mary Glynn and Grayson were there so Henley had so much fun with them. Wow, it was a long weekend. until next time.....

A couple of Easter pics....

We had a great Easter. Of course Henley was the cutest little girl ever. Her dress turned out perfect and so did the shoes that Daddy and Henley bought. I swear he is the best daddy ever. He took off work to carry Henley Easter shoe shopping. (what Daddy does that?) He went to a shoe store in patton creek, searched the Galleria, and then over to 280 where he finally found her a pair of shoes. We will not say how much he had to pay for them though...haha! We hunted eggs at his grandparents house and then again at my moms. Henley also came home with $16.00. She got several prize eggs!

Not only is Adam the best daddy ever but he is also becoming Mr. Betty Crocker. He made a homemade chocolate pie from scratch....I am talking crust too. It was so good, even though i only got one bite of it. We forgot to get it before we left home for church and all other Easter festivities. Not to worry though......Adam ate the whole entire pie all by himself....literally i got 1 or 2 bites off his plate.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Baby #2 update!

Well Adam, Henley, a I went to the doctor yesterday to find out the sex of the baby. After pushing all over my tummy, turning back and forth from side to side, a little jumping action, running in place, and 2 utlrasounds later........We found out that Henley is going to have a baby sister. We are very excited even though I am still in shock from thinking about all the $$$$$$$'s!

We almost have completely decided on a name but the middle name is still kind of up in the air.

I am also posting a couple of new pics of Henley!

Take me out to the ballgame....

Many people are against us starting Henley playing ball. I am so excited about it and so is she. She did fairly well for a 2 yr old, but I am not going to lie, she will probably be riding the pine a pretty good bit...hahaha! We have a lot to work on to say the least. There are so many funny stories to tell....i would be writing a book if i mentioned them all. Here are some pictures from her first day at practice!
Also, I went to the doctor yesterday and had to have an ultrasound.....still too early to be positive if its a boy or girl. There was a little something sticking out between the legs though. haha! I go back April 6th for another one to be positive.

Let it SNOW!!!

The family pic in the snow. Nice straw hat, Adam!
This is me being an idiot playing in the snow. I was trying to entertain Adam!

The snow on Sunday was so much fun. Henley was so excited because it was snowing and she thought that meant Santa Claus was coming. How funny! Below is Henley throwing a snowball at Mommy.

After playing in the snow and napping for a while, we went to Adam's parents house and spent the evening with the fam. Alana, Natalie, and Eli were there as well. yes, I said Natalie! She actually participated in a family gathering! I think she started to miss us....haha!

baby update and ear update!

Well, I went back to the doctor on Monday and everything looks great! Baby is no longer a dot on the ultrasound. I actually saw toes.....that is about all i could make out though. haha!
Well, Henley is not the one with the ear infection now. I woke up Friday night in SEVERE pain with my ear. Adam went to the store and bought me tylenol (only thing i can take while PG) in the middle of the night and put some ear drops in my ear. I have an AWESOME husband! Okay....so that didnt help the least bit. Thanks for trying!!! I actually couldn't take the pain any longer and drove myself to the ER. SCARY.....to say the least! The wait was 3 or more hours....okay...so i just went back home.
Today i went to see an ENT and he says that i am getting ear infections from Henley. Never thought that was possible. He said maybe now that she has tubes, my ear infections may get better. Did i mention this was my 2nd one in 3 months. If the ear infections continue.......I WILL HAVE TO HAVE TUBES TOO....hahaa! Maybe i will not be posting pics of the nurses wheeling me off in a little red wagon into surgery like they did Henley.
Hope everyone has a great V-day!

our weekend....

Henley loves the trampoline.....there is no way I could stand all that static in my hair! My plan was to take a nice Saturday nap but all I could hear was Henley and Adam outside laughing and jumping and I couldn't resist going to spend some time with them outside and taking some pictures. I must say.....i did take some good ones!
This is her Schwinn tricycle that her Uncle Kev and Aunt Kelcy got her for Christmas. She drives it like Fred Flinstone.....she will not use the pedals....even though this picture looks like she is really into it!

Henley loves to ride with her Daddy. I think Mommy goes a little too fast for her! Yes, Henley has on a Christmas shirt. I bet you can't guess who dressed her. Anytime Adam dresses her he has to make sure it looks ridiculous.

Also, one last thing......We went for a check up today after having tubes put in. They said her ears looked fantastic and her hearing was back to normal. Praise God!!! He never fails to answer a prayer! I prayed that her attitude would go away too....haha! That "Red Headed" attitude is here to stay....who am I kidding!
