The Circus came to town...
So, I am so bummed about not getting to go to the circus this year. This has always been my personal favorite. It always comes to town during my birthday and so it was always part of my birthday present growing up. This year I just couldn't afford to go! I am excited that Henley got to go though. Her Granny and Aunt Lana carried her and Eli with Eli's school. As you can see....Eli wasn't too impressed. They said Henley LOVED it! A few pictures are below. Oh, and happy 27th birthday to myself! I got money, make up, painting class with Kelcy, and dinner from a couple of people. My favorite though was coming home to a clean house and the smell of steaks on the grill! I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!

I too skipped out on the circus this year for money reasons. Mikey's mom took Mikey and Huett and Sam on her dime, so I was good with that, as long as they got to go. And yes, Charlie is in 6-9 month stuff now, but I just can't rationalize him being in anything bigger than a 12 month swimsuit this summer. Boys suits are different too b/c you don't have to worry about covering up their chest so a swimsuit that's a little snug is okay for a baby boy where it wouldn't be for a baby girl. I know this is in advance but we need to have a beginning of summer pool party play date! I am yearning for summer!

about the valentine's thing for pre-school. i think i'm going to let ava just take regular valentine cards, and then also send some treats...which i haven't totally decided on. i am think heart shaped rice krispy treats with white chocolate and sprinkles on top. a version of what i sent to the school for her birthday back in september.
